The YCA program by importer partners Unblended is an effort to build demand for the processing experiments that are necessary in the development of young producers. In recruiting young people to their program, Unblended is passing down necessary skills and tools for that experimentation. The flavor profile of this community lot is wildly fruit-forward with a backbone of chocolate and cacao, which reflects the dedication to progression, and the acknowledgement of  tradition in how coffee is treated post-harvest.

The profile here is punchy with bold strawberry and kiwi fruit presence, slightly citric acidity, and a backbone of chocolate and cacao. The combined fermentations make for a very adventurous cup packed with new flavors at every turn.
